Hey, I'm Ken Brown.
I work with learning professionals who feel stuck in their teaching, struggle to engage adult learners, or want more creative ways to deliver training content.
Over 27 years in the classroom as an adjunct university instructor, instructional designer, and facilitator, I've developed The EMU Experience — a method for purposefully engaging students and delivering content in unexpected, memorable ways.

When I'm Not Working…
Outside of training rooms, I collect ideas, observations, and stories that shape how I think about learning. Those reflections often show up in blog posts and in conversations with clients.
For 27 years I've sat across from adult learners, watched what works, and tested what surprises them. That habit of looking closely is what fuels The EMU Experience.
When I Do Work…
I partner with trainers and teams to design sessions that engage, stick, and surprise. Whether it's a workshop, a course, or a key presentation, the goal is the same: a memorable learning experience.
